In line with its mission of building inclusive digital insurance markets, Inclusivity Solutions is excited to participate in the upcoming research event entitled “Advancing Inclusive Insurance Markets in Africa”. The event, which is sponsored by Chatham House, will take place in Nairobi, Kenya on September 30, 2015 and look at innovations in industry, policy and development.
Inclusivity Solutions CEO Jeremy Leach will present on how mobile client data can be used to help reshape insurance products and their distribution. From relatively simple user data like airtime usage and top-up patterns to more robust figures on mobile money transactions, mobile operators hold a wealth of information that can factor into designing beneficial and customised products, and marketing these to customers more effectively. Furthermore with the increasing ubiquity of smartphones and mobile broadband access across emerging markets, mobile data and its usefulness for insurance will continue to evolve and expand in the years ahead.
