Attracted by the prospect of working for a start-up driving social impact, Sharon joined the Inclusivity Solutions team in 2016. In her role as marketing manager, Sharon is responsible for maintaining and promoting the Inclusivity Solutions brand and for overseeing all corporate communications activity.
Prior to joining Inclusivity Solutions she worked at global technology research firm, Gartner, where she served as a sales account manager working across various African and South African territories. Before this, Sharon spent 10 years working for Cisco Systems where she was responsible for leading their strategic marketing influencer programmes for select product areas and Emerging Markets. In her roles she was responsible for developing positive sentiment for Cisco’s technology and Emerging Markets strategies with external influencers such as technology analysts. Her Emerging Markets remit spanned 132 countries across Latin America, Russia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East and Africa. She also led the Europe Middle East and Africa analyst and public relations programme for technology company, Avaya, before joining Cisco Systems.
Sharon holds a National Diploma in Public Relations from the Durban University of Technology and a Diploma in Professional Marketing from the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing.
