Kenya’s BIGGEST digital insurance partnership is here: We have joined hands with Safaricom PLC & Google to roll out Data Plus, an hashtag#embeddedinsurance product that combines Google Maps, Data Bundles and Britam Accident Insurance.
Within a few months of the beta launch, we have already issued over 0.5Million+ hashtag#microinsurance policies. Our target is to reach half of Safaricom’s 46Million subscribers i.e. 23Million insured policies in the next two years. Powered by Inclusivity Solutions, this partnership has the real potential to expand insurance access in Kenya by delivering insurance to the last mile as you can see in this video.
