As a passionate advocate for positive change in Southern Africa, George embodies a deep commitment to ecosystem building and community development. Throughout his decade championing entrepreneurship, he has been a driving force in shaping the growth of the entrepreneurial landscape in Zambia and across Sub-Saharan Africa.

In his role, George fosters strong partnerships with Zambia-based clients and partners, overseeing all aspects of their operations and providing technical support. He also identifies and scopes new opportunities to expand the company’s footprint in the region.

His journey began at Zambia’s first innovation hub, BongoHive, where he oversaw 500+ events, successfully managing partnerships with key stakeholders throughout. From workshops and training sessions to hackathons, industry talks, networking events, startup weekends, and pitch demo nights, George curated impactful experiences that empowered over 1500 startups and MSMEs, not only in Zambia but throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.

Building bridges towards a digital future, George’s work as Country Manager at Signifide Group International opened doors for SMEs by digitising and streamlining their business processes and facilitating access to finance and investment opportunities.

A distinguished 2022 McKinsey Forward Program Alumnus, George exemplifies a continuous pursuit of excellence and leadership in the ever-evolving landscape of business and entrepreneurship. His passion for driving positive change positions him at the forefront of fostering innovation, inclusivity, and sustainable growth in the region.

At a personal level, George co-hosts the engaging podcast ‘The Three and Company and plays a key role in organising TEDxLusaka.
