Tumelo’s journey began in aviation, where he trained and qualified to fly private aircraft. His career then took a meaningful turn into the insurance sector, starting at Discovery. There, he gained deep operational experience in the servicing team, later advancing into corporate distribution and eventually joining Discovery’s international division(Vitality Health International). In that role, he was responsible for driving revenue growth across several African markets.

Outside of work, Tumelo enjoys quality time with his family, his wife, whom he fondly describes as “an absolute darling,” and their children. A passionate outdoor enthusiast, he is an avid mountain biker and a recreational pilot who enjoys flying single-engine aircraft. Always seeking new adventures, Tumelo is also looking forward to taking up paragliding.

Now at Inclusivity Solutions, Tumelo’s passion is deeply rooted in contributing to the African continent by enabling access to essential insurance services for underserved communities.
